I use small saddle bags without supports. The brand is Unik (not kidding, from Pakistan) and I found them at a local cycle leather store for about $80. They are slanted style and fit between the rear struts and turn signals. Big enough for daily needs, but wouldn't work for serious touring, at least not by themselves. They look to be in porportion to the size of the Savage, but that is a matter of taste. Mike M.
